Kris Wackowski joined the Ninevah Christian Church (NCC) staff in March 2020 as the Children's Ministry Assistant. He has been attending Ninevah since 2011, and alongside his wife Kristi, they are proud parents to their daughter, Karsyn. Kris feels called to ministry because he loves the Lord our God, who has saved him, and he wants everyone to experience that same grace. Growing up in the community, Kris is passionate about ensuring that his hometown thrives spiritually, aiming to lead others toward heaven.

Before his ministry role, Kris served four years in the United States Marine Corps, participating in deployments to Iraq and conducting anti-piracy operations off the Horn of Africa. He has also dedicated the past four years to the Eastern Kentucky mission team with NCC and the Christian Appalachian Project (CAP). Kris enjoys shooting, mowing, and relaxing on the front porch in his spare time.

With about five years of experience in ministry—three full-time and two to three additional part-time—Kris is committed to impacting the lives of children and families within Ninevah and the surrounding community.
